EPSE & LAMP Programs

Now in its 27th year, EPSE has graduated over 800 senior level professionals and has helped them become more valuable and productive as they broadened their perspective and identified with their overall business. EPSE has provided science and engineering senior professionals with an Executive Perspective on the business and management challenges facing today’s technology industries.

EPSE Program

EPSE addresses the need for professional development and was designed with the rising population of scientists and engineers in mind. The program’s team-oriented and fast-paced format introduces participants to a whole new arena of knowledge and perspective about science and technology-based business. It helps the region’s science-based talent advance into leadership positions, which benefits the individual, their employer, and the regional economy.

“Personal development for senior technical professionals”

EPSE is designed for mid- to senior-level scientists and engineers who have several years of supervisory and operational experience. Applicants should have a degree in engineering, science, computer science, or related field.

LAMP Program

LAMP instruction will focus on interaction and group problem solving.

LAMP is designed for entry to mid-level professionals who are taking on leadership and management roles and need to enhance their skills. Participants in LAMP have either a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in an engineering, science, business, or related field.

“Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality”

The six-month afternoon/evening program is designed to help promising employees develop a comprehensive management skill set. Successful applicants can expect to learn core skills in:

  • Individual & workgroup leadership
  • Business management fundamentals
  • Personal skill building
