EPSE Class of 2012 Kicks Off Module 1 at Pala Resort
The beautiful Pala Mesa Resort once again hosted the offsite retreat to kick off the beginning of the semester for the EPSE class of 2012. September 13th was the start of a 3-day retreat with a picture-perfect week as Jim Snell led DiSC on Monday and, with the help of Steve Scarano and Dan Piermarini, outdoor teambuilding on Tuesday. EPSE Research Project
“Exploring Contemporary Management Challenges” addressed the subject of retaining and engaging key talent. The assignment was to gather information from interviews, surveys and literature and to look for common themes in the collected data. The 29 researchers conducted 54 interviews from 13 science and technology companies, collected surveys from 477 respondents, and included 107 citations in their reports.
