The Edge Trends Committee sponsored a free seminar entitled “Emotional Intelligence” on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 7:30 a.m. in the UCSD Extension Classroom. The guest speakers were Liz Young and Patty Hill who are Trainers at Goodrich.

On 15-16 March, 2011, from 10:00-4:30, the LAMP class conducted a day of team leadership training using the UCSD high ropes challenge course.
Learning Objectives:
Participants gained a greater awareness and appreciation of the importance of trust and communication when working together as a team.
The teams were able to establish and maintain the four elements of trust: honesty, openness, consistency, and respect.

On Sunday, March 13, a distinguished alumni group from EPSE and LAMP gathered for a gala affair at the Bernardo Winery in Rancho Bernardo. It is the oldest surviving winery in San Diego County and it provided a perfect setting for this group to renew acquaintances and enjoy each other’s company.
